About this website

This website is run by Kick Out Poverty ("we", "us"). It gives information about our work to tackle homelessness and poverty in London and signposts to other services.

Information we collect

This website does not ask you to create an account or fill in forms, and we do not set our own cookies or run analytics. The chat assistant runs in your browser and your messages are not sent to us or stored.

Some content is loaded from other providers, such as Google Fonts and Font Awesome. When you load a page, these providers may receive technical information such as your IP address. Links to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and PayPal take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies and may use cookies.

Donations

Donations and membership payments are handled by PayPal. We do not see or store your card or bank details. PayPal's privacy policy applies to the information you give them.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018) you have rights over your personal information, including to access it, correct it and ask for it to be deleted. If you have a concern about how your data has been used, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Help and advice pages

The Get Help page lists independent organisations. We are not responsible for their services or websites. The information is general guidance, not legal, housing or medical advice. Kick Out Poverty is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call 999.
